Have you ever been on a road trip?
On the trip there will be many exits along the way, however there is only one right exit while all the others will be the wrong exit. Realize there are no diabolical or evil exits, none of them are out to get you. They are all good, however if you take the wrong exit no matter how good that exit may be it is still the wrong exit. What is my point? No matter how good a thing may be if its not the right thing even though it may be good, it still is the wrong thing.
All you life you will hear the word Gospel, the Gospel message, the Gospel of Jesus, the Gospel of Christ, etc...
You will be amazed to discover that the Gospel Jesus preached is not the same Gospel most people are preaching, nor teaching about or even talking about for that matter. :O
I was shocked to discover that what most people think the Gospel message is, is not. Praise the Lord for his Spirit of truth and the revelation there of. Discover Jesus Gospel Message today and why his message is totally different than most people's Gospel message.
Timothy talks about the last days and he informs us that two things are going to happen:
2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. KJV
2 Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. KJV
1. There will be a form of godliness, in fact it will look just like the Gospel message but it will be an imitation of the Gospel with no power in it.
Timothy lets us know that there will be two types of people. One group will be ever learning and never coming into the knowledge of the truth in other words they will be falling for the form of godliness or the imitation gospel never coming into the knowledge of the truth.
While the other group of people will be learning and coming into the knowledge of the truth or coming into the true Gospel that Jesus preached.
