Proverbs 22:2 Rich and poor have this in common: The Lord is the Maker of them all. NIV

Let me translate from the original text into our modern vernacular:

God doesn`t create rich people or poor people, He just creates people, they become rich or poor based on the way they think.

In other words, it's the thinking that keeps the poor guy living under a bridge, while it's the thinking that keeps the rich guy rich. If you take all the money the rich guy has and give it to the poor guy in less than a year he will be poor again and if you take the only quarter the poor guy has and give it to a rich man stripping him of his monies in less than a year he will be a millionaire again because it's their thinking that is keeping them where they are. This reveals serious knowledge and understanding, Poverty is not a lack of liquid assets, it's a lack of the ability to think correctly. This is why a person can win the lotto and a few years later they are completely broke, sincerely
